This article is about hate crimes that take place within the realm, of the internet. This document was prepared by two professors from the University of Southern Maine and they specialize in prevention of hate crimes. This document talks about how hate crimes can start and how they can be prevented as well as providing laws that provide jurisdiction in cases of hate crimes. These two professors, James and Moss, also identify the motives for such hate crimes and what actually constitutes as an internet hate crime. James and Moss cover how hate crimes begin, are carried out and what can be done about them.
